What do I do when I'm NOT working?! Hmm good question!

I was looking through my inventory, actually, I'm on day five of tidying it up.  It's gotten to the point that people aren't coming back out alive, and I've been finding all these photos of grabbed hilarity which really are just too good to linger in folders, so I'm airing them out and sharing them, even though, you probably had to be there :)


This is Reg Mannonen, an awesome scripter and an even better friend.  Anyone who knows me knows that we have been friends for nearly forever; I even share my chocolate with him!  This is the day I opened my first store and it was Reg who was with me!  If you're interested I opened two stores nearly simulatiously that day.  One was at Sardar Fair, and one was at the infamous Siba.  This is Siba.  It was a good market for me. Both markets are gone now, That incarnation of Siba along time ago, Sardar Fair, more recently.  Orange and black used to be my colour scheme, it was all sunset based, that didnt last long, you can see it on my old animation stands.  I'm wearing Girl 6 hair, "Rain" and I'm pretty darn sure thats a camisky from Layla's Beastie Bits, but I could be wrong on that one.  Reg is wearing fuck knows but it was bloody cool at the time!

This is me and Athan Ansar, Merchant and Head of the House of Ansar.  He's involved in the GMC, the Relay for Life and creates some fantastic products which most of you have yet to see!  He is nearly always in white and gold, a real example of caste pride, not that great wtih a sword, lethal with a signed contract agreement ;)  This photo is his idea of a business meeting. :D  

This is me and Athan again, at one of the older Selkie stores, when I had a N30 photo studio set up for anyone to use.  Playing around with the back drops.  I am the only person to my knowledge who has tried to create gorean backdrops, and it worked real good!

These two photos always make me think he got off his kaiila and nipped behind a bush, like guys do, for a pee.

Then there's the group I'm involved with, a group of four artists and creators, Rachel Darling of Milady's Fancy, Syngen Sohmers of Sakinah and omg... Frederick Lancaster of Honor Bound.  We have a huge project under way.  A luxurious shopping retreat offering everything a gorean might desire in one delicious location.  This is us working really hard....

That's me in the foreground, wearing some of Arwen Serpente's "Thorn and Roses" outfit in robin egg blue and my hair is from one of the best hair designers in sl, Analog Dog's "Cafe" in black.  That's the honourable Fred behind me in his blue speedos with sculpty bit *wicked, wicked grin* and keeping an eye on him as ever, Syn, probably in lelutka or Zaara.  These two give me some of my best shopping destinations.  Yeah, we are dancing to Thriller.

Finally, for now, dancing at Kasra, one of our 24 hour stretches, with Athan, Dove, Dove's girl, Adi and a city girl who was serving there at the time.  And yeah... he really is letting his hair down, cutting lose and not wearing anything under those chaps!!!

 

 

OMG has it really been so long!

It's been nearly a year since I last posted any news here!  And all I can say is that rl in the last year has been a heck of a ride, white knuckled and gnarly, where you sink or swim.  I swam and Selkie, despite appearances has been hugely busy behind the scenes.  I'm hugely grateful to the patience of my Selkie Pups and wish each one of you a peaceful and successful New Year, providing your successes don't involve hurting anyone!

So what's new?! 

Where to start!  Out already in the stores is the start of a revamped dance range.  If you've been around as long as I have, you'll know that there are some dance phrases that have been on and off sale for years.  The dance range however is all new animations.  The old dance phrases will be reworked and better!  The new dances poses are just adorable and already infamous thanks to the dance classes over in Ko-ro-ba! Thank you Ko-ro-ba!  The poses are intended as filler peices and the starts and endings to your dances. My favourite, my absolute favourite thing about them is that the climaxes leave you lying panting on the floor, literally, just like your audience will be ;)

A note about the silk, oh my gosh, this silk is not only gorgeous but, when wore in it's entirety, *the* most eye widening, elaborate, Rio -esque silk ever. Featuring a peacock style tail attachment that fans out behind you (not shown), it exudes an aura of carnival fun, luxury and pure unadulterated, centre of attention, show stopping stunningness.  In other words, I adore it and thank you angel, over at the Toy Slaves Brothel for introducing me to her work!  (Note: Can be a biatch to edit so be prepared to spend time adjusting to fit if you insist that your butt has to be larger than size 0!)

Back over in Selkie, on the store front, it has been a time of huge change which will soon be very obvious to the whole Secondlife World.  I've been running at half stock for months now while some huge projects have consumed my time, more about these soon.  I'm very excited about them, but they deserve their own post.  Behind the scenes, I've been going through stock, correcting errors, pricing, tweaking animations and trying to standardise the sizing to a higher level.  If you are having problems finding what you want, please get in touch with me, I'm very happy to help.

New Releases: A Wider Thentis and A Towergirl Who Doesnt Want to be Anymore!

Oh it has been a loooooong time, and we still havent done any advertising about our new location, but people are still finding us. On the down side, I really havent been well for the last two months, but I think I'm getting there now :D On the good side, I have two new releases this week, a wider pleasure slave thentis, and a begging tower. Are you bored of being a white silk, a virgin? Are you tired of scrubbing laundry and floors? Are you curious for the touch of a man? This tower has the palms turned, a subtle plea, that isnt always a "fuck me now pleeeease" but can be used to indicate vulnerablilty, "I want a hug, to touch you, look how helpless I am please grant my desire". Although this position isnt mentioned in the books, a tower girl parting her legs is, and it's the same kind of idea. However please be aware that this animation is a breaking position animation, which means you haven't had permission to adopt it and depending on the situation, you could find your plea answered or yourself in some trouble for breaking position.

Selkie has moved!

We are now located on MoonRising Isle, in the South East Corner. Huge Store! Please bear with me as I decorate, the building work is messy but unavoidable due to a minor vendor/server disaster which moved the moving date forward to immediately! We had no intention of moving from our old home on Narassume, but things change and i hope y'all arent to inconvienanced by the move. If you want to support Selkie, please come on down, look around and add us to your picks. I will be sending out new landmarks to all existing customers over the next couple of days. Selkie Gestures

Selkie Gestures are the new range at Selkie Gorean Animations. There are currently gestures available for Free Men and Slaves. I've tried to keep it to a really simple concept, and although familiarity with gestures is good, you dont need to know everything about them to make them work. I've based the entire range on a "Hot Key" function. If you play online games you are likely to use the F Keys alot more than you do in secondlife. This is because they are easier and faster than typing text and clicking huds. I've taken this idea and the Selkie Gesture Range was born. Although the gestures can be chat triggered, the main trigger is the F Keys. Gorean Men have the option of buying Ctrl + F Key versions so the gesture can be active alongside weapon controls which also use F Keys. But on the whole, the basic concept is, press an F Key and your animation and text is played. If the gesture needs a releaser, this is included in the purchase and pressing Shift with the F Key which triggered the gesture in the first place will release you. It is sooo easy.

For Gorean Men there is the Tal Gestures. You would not believe how long this has been rattling around in my inventory. I've finally done something about it. There are quite a few versions available. As mentionned above, there is a choice of trigger keys, F Key or Ctrl + F Key. I asked around and found out alot of weapons use F Keys and I want you to be able to have both active at the same time. The Tal Greeting is mod/copy. If you are a confident gesture user this is for you. The rest of the range includes Tal expressions like Tal Stranger and Tal my Brother. These include the Tal animation, the text and facial expressions. The preview stands in the main store will play the gesture for you. For Slaves there are the Pleasure Slave and Tower Slave positions available for smaller and standard size avatars. I really went to town on these and they are a godsend. If you are anything like me, your Master marches off at a warrior pace completely unsympathetic to your laggy logistics and I'm trying frantically to release and run after him. Now I press one key and not only do I stand up, but it is emoted for me too. It is totally independant of huds and collars. When you buy a slave gesture you will get the position gesture and the release gesture. You will get a silent and emoting verions. Thats four gestures. I have written a default emote describing the position correctly and describing you returning to your feet but please change this to suit your own style. Instructions included ! Empty Space Syndrome

I love profiles, just like I love creating avatars and characters on MMORPHS. Now that I have a blog, I'm likely to re decorate alot. You may have noticed that already, I change the look of things fairly often! Now I have lots of space to fill with the things I love best! Mostly though this is going to be dedicated to my secondlife passion, Selkie Gorean Animations. Things are going great for Selkie, despite the economic crash, we are built on a strong base of smart savvy customers! We have a sim with our store and home, and a new range of products out, the Selkie Gestures. These are really exciting, I use them all the time, they are so fast and much easier than inventory hunting but I will write more about them later as they deserve their own space! Behind the scenes I have been working incrediably hard with vendor, stock and land issues, changing my mind alot as sl keeps changing theirs! Hopefully now though I will be able to finish the million and one projects I have jostling around in my inventory. I hope you love the store and the blog, i'd supply the chocolate to go with the reading if I could!
